We are very pleased that Charles Poynton, color science authority and author of the textbooks the whole video industry relies on, writes a monthly column for SpectraCal called "Poynton's Vector." The first article is titled
CONTRAST, BRIGHTNESS, and the naming of things.

- Contrast and brightness controls are misnamed, with white and black level being more logical choices.
